7th Labs Network Meeting

The 7th Meeting of the Network of Laboratories for Experimentation and Innovation in the Public Sector took place on 28 February 2024 at the headquarters of the Portuguese Criminal Investigation Police in Lisbon.

This meeting, with the theme “Co-creation tools and methodologies“, was co-organised by LabX and the Innovation Laboratory (LabInov) of Portuguese Criminal Investigation Police and was attended by 27 participants from the Labs Network.

The opening session was attended by Luísa Proença, Deputy National Director of the Portuguese Criminal Investigation Police, and Elsa Castro, Member of the Board of Directors of the Administrative Modernization Agency, IP (AMA).

In the morning we had the presentation of the new member of the Network, the Innovation and Mobility Solutions Department of EMEL – Empresa de Mobilidade e Estacionamento de Lisboa. Also during this period, through collaborative dynamics, the Network members reflected on the tools and challenges of co-creation.

The afternoon was dedicated to exploring the digital experience and how to operationalise a usability test for a specific case through group dynamics to enhance the participants’ learning.

The next meeting will be held in Caldas da Rainha, in 30 October 2024 and will be co-organised by Oeste+Inovação.
