5th Labs Network Meeting

We headed south for the 5th Meeting of the Network of Experimentation and Innovation Laboratories in the Public Sector! In a joint organization between LabX and LouléXLab from Loulé Municipality under the theme “Analysis of Practical Cases”, the 5th Labs Network Meetings counted with 29 participants and presented and discussed several innovative projects carried out in Public Administration and also promoted joint reflection on the role of experimentation and innovation laboratories within their institutions.
The morning session was attended by Vítor Aleixo, Mayor of Loulé, who opened and welcomed the participants. Pedro Chaves from AMAL- Algarve Intermunicipal Community who coordinated the team of the project “Resilient Region 2. 0” in the Algarve Region, and João Mota and Irene Gomes from IPST- Portuguese Institute for Blood and Transplantation , who were part of the “Optimized management of bone marrow donors panel” project team, were invited to present their projects, which counted with the methodological support of LabX.
In the afternoon, the Network members reflected on the challenges faced by laboratories and innovation teams within the institution.
Next meeting we’ll be heading north and is already scheduled for 15th of November. The Experimentation Laboratory of the Municipality of Valongo will be hosting the event and it will be discussed examples of good international practices.
