National Participation Day 2025
31 January 2025

This year the National Participation Day was celebrated on 30 January, the last Thursday of the month, as stated on Council of Ministers Resolution No. 130/2021 of 10th September 2021.
Throughout the day, consultation initiatives took place in the Citizen’s Shops of Coimbra, Laranjeiras and Porto, in the municipal in-person services of Coimbra and Loulé and in the São José and Curry Cabral Hospitals.
LabX-Centre for Innovation in the Public Sector of the Administrative Modernisation Agency was supported on the ground by the Network of Laboratories through the municipality laboratories of Coimbra (LMx Coimbra), Lisboa (LxLEM) and Loulé (LouléXLab) and the experimentation and innovation laboratory of the Local Health Unit of São José.
During the National Participation Day consultation action were collected a total of 87 responses on the difficulties experienced by citizens in accessing and using public services and 84 suggestions for improvements.
Now the data will be analysed to understand which areas are most relevant to citizens and thus inform and establish criteria to include them on Simplex Programme.
At the same time, took place the submission phase of proposals for Simplex 2025 measures, resulting in a total of 69 proposals that are now in the technical analysis phase. From 3 March you can consult and vote on all eligible proposals at Participa.gov civic participation portal.
