National Participation Day

The Resolution of the Council of Ministers No. 130/2021 of 10th September 2021 determines the National Participation Day. The date is celebrated on the last Thursday of January each year and reinforces the importance of civic participation in democratic governance models and the development of an increasingly wider, transparent and inclusive ecosystem of participation.
In 2022 AMA celebrated the date and promoted several initiatives to disseminate practices implemented in the exercise of citizenship. We share some of them that referred LabX projects such as the Kit AP Participa, Living Labs, Civic Space Scan Portugal, game It’s My Turn (To Speak)! / Agora Falo Eu! and the 2nd National Action Plan for Open Administration:
