July is synonymous with innovation for Public Administration (AP). It all started in July 2018, when the Innovation AP started a set of initiatives to bring the Incentive System for Innovation in Public Management (SIIGeP) to the entire AP. And for the third consecutive year, in July, we celebrated the month of innovation, which aims to activate participation, simplification and innovation in Public Administration.

On May 20th, LabX promoted, in collaboration with the OECD Observatory of Public Sector Innovation (OPSI), a workshop under the theme “Future-proofing the public sector: cocreating the Anticipatory Innovation Starter Kit”.

LabX is promoting a micromobility program that offers the opportunity for Public Administration workers to carry out an immersive experience and work, lasting 4 to 12 weeks, through their direct involvement in experimental projects developed by LabX.

The National Open Administration Network is collecting contributions for the development of proposals that improve the provision of Public Services.

The Copenhagen Manual is a practical guide for measuring innovation in the public sector and was launched on the 23rd of February by the Danish National Centre for Public-Private Sector Innovation (COI). This manual is the result of the collaboration between20 countries. Portugal participated through the experimental project InovX: Innovation Panel for the Public Sector, developed by the LabX in partnership with academia mia and the OECD Observatory of Public Sector Innovation (OPSI).
