The Copenhagen Manual is a practical guide for measuring innovation in the public sector and was launched on the 23rd of February by the Danish National Centre for Public-Private Sector Innovation (COI). This manual is the result of the collaboration between20 countries. Portugal participated through the experimental project InovX: Innovation Panel for the Public Sector, developed by the LabX in partnership with academia mia and the OECD Observatory of Public Sector Innovation (OPSI).
At the end of 2020, LabX celebrated 4 years of existence and 3 years of effective work, marking the date with the publication of a Progress Report.
We are in the Citizen Shops to test new functional prototypes that aim to improve the experience of those who visit and work in Citizen Stores. These prototypes result from proofs of concept developed based on the results of the research and a collaboration maintained with the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Lisbon and with the Design Factory Aveiro
In a partnership with the Department of Social, Political and Territory Sciences at the University of Aveiro, we held a co-creation session, in Aveiro, where citizens and those responsible for managing the face-to-face service of the Citizen Stores were present, in order to generate ideas and identify features for a physical space where citizens can perform various digital public services autonomously.
LabX was present at the European Behavioral Insights Specialist Meeting which took place on 18 and 19 June in The Hague in the Netherlands with the aim of sharing its experience as an enhancer of the Portuguese ecosystem. In this way, labX contributes to bring specialists and research centers closer to public entities wishing to apply behavioral sciences to public policy issues.
