Projects

This project is a result of a partnership between LabX – Innovation Centre for the Public Sector – AMA and the Portuguese Institute of Sports and Youth, I.P. (IPDJ) with the purpose of testing different prototypes in an open innovation environment where young people, technicians and experts cohabit collaboratively in a horizontal relationship to test solutions for existing challenges in public services dedicated to young people.

An experimentation lab is a space that promotes research to inform decisions and makes use of collective creativity to generate ideas, to provide answers to the challenges faced by public organisations. It makes use of experimentation to test solutions with citizens and public servants, in a real and controlled risk environment, to validate and implement it.

The Innovation Playbook is the Innovation Manual of OPSI – Observatory for Public Sector Innovation of OECD. The Innovators Network is a community of practices within the Public Administration with the objective of promoting collaborative work within the Public Administration for the sharing of knowledge and experiences resulting from experimental projects and / or approaches, be they support guides, good practices, instruments or case studies that demonstrate promising or effective results.

The Digital Land Registry (BUPi) project aimed to promote the realization of a land registry in a test context (10 counties). LabX’s involvement involved surveying and identifying existing obstacles and opportunities for citizens and companies to join this new service.
